Pivoting wood beam doors open the house to the ocean. Handwoven textiles and sculptural seating inside, a palapa roofed balcony and a private pool facing the Pacific outside. Four bedrooms sit off a shared living and dining core, with a fully equipped kitchen behind it, so a group can gather and scatter without negotiating for space. The jacuzzi faces the same horizon as the pool. Afternoons here are slow by design, and the view does most of the work.
